Lost and Grey’s Anatomy come back!

It’s been a long wait! Well despite Lost’s comparatively shorter hiatus, it was quite a while since I’ve actually seen series episodes.  Major spoilers ahead for Lost, I’m not blogging about GA yet… Well apart from further confirmation that I am not really built to be a doctor, GA had another barf-worthy episode, for me anyway…

Faxing without the hassle.

Remember Mel Brooks’ Men in Tights? When they used the 13th Century Fox?

Good, because I couldn’t find a picture of it to refresh your memory.

Times have changed since then and obviously, we use fax machines now. But for people like me, who run over to the offices of friends to leech fax machines whenever the need arises, it’s pretty inconvenient not to own a machine. Nowadays you can send faxes for fee via the internet. But what about receiving faxes?

FaxMi (with a name like that, you know you have to get the service! Get it, service… ok bad pun…) provides! Check out the website, mighty coincidental that the laptop picture there looks EXACTLY like mine. Anyways its pretty interesting considering that I always access my mail, so this service makes it pretty convenient. And I can finally append a fax contact on the-place-below-your-name-when-you-send-e-mails place so I can look more professional!

Of Mondays and Fridays

I never really realized the value of Fridays until I started my OJT. I also usually have Saturday classes so I don’t really have weekends like normal people do. Don’t get me wrong, the work is fun but sometimes we need a break because the load can be a bit stressful.

Me, last Friday.

So um yeah,  WEEKENDS!!!!!

Either way funny thing, last Friday my supervisor informed me via e-mail that he wouldn’t be going to work because he was down with something like the flu. After reading his instructions, I was like "So I can get drunk NOW?!?!!?!" LOL. Anyway when the boss is away, the interns will play and… wait he might read my blog so… I’ll shut up now.

I’m sorry I’m not that really out and at ‘em. My Fridays, barring shows, dates, and org events usually involve me waiting for Naruto to be up. And soon Lost and Grey’s Anatomy too (epic win!) But that weekend was quite jam-packed with activities. I had a partylast Friday which I followed up with a whole day of judging for the Shadowmoor Prerelease (geek-speak) which was supposed to be followed up by a brunch buffet, then Forbidden Kingdom gimik with my high school buddies. We didn’t have the buffet, we ended up killing time in Timezone, then watching Forbidden Kingdom, CS/DOTA, then dinner. Hanging out was fun.

So it’s Monday now, again. And there… sad… Gotta get back to work.
